I saw Kathleen Mahan for nutritional advice several months ago, and it was a HORRIBLE experience. She offers questionable advice and does not pay attention to the needs and requests of her patients. I rarely post reviews (positive or negative) but my appointment with her was so terrible that I feel obligated to mention it. When I was in school, one of my professors described this book as the "bible of nutrition". I didn't know then that I would be using it as a reference constantly while in school and my internship. I still use it occasionally when I encounter an unusual situation.
