I enjoyed and continue to enjoy this album. Sounds much different from most of Trent's other stuff. Maybe most like "With Teeth". The first four songs (1,000,000, Letting You, Discipline, and Echoplex) are really good. Head Down is OK. The album then tapers off and finally finishes with "Demon Seed", another good rocking song. While Trent has let go of some angst that once made him a leader of Gen X in the 90's, he doesnt quite deliver the power in the music or programming that once made Broken or Downward Spiral legendary. While some of the songs, like "The Four of Us Are Dying" really show NIN back in full form, Discipline, the first single, stalls right out of the gate. Demon Seed and Lights in the Sky are other highlights of this album, while Echoplex and Corona Radiata are radio friendly songs for 15 seconds at best. ... Read More

This CD shows that Trent Reznor (Frontman of Nine Inch Nails) still has the creative mind to compose music worthy of our generation. Though over the recent years he has surely mellowed out in terms of hard-hitting loud and violent music, he is still creating melodies and lyrics that still define what Nine Inch Nails really is.
