This camera was gifted to me over the holidays. I was able to set it up and begin using it with minimal reading of the handbook. The camera takes great pictures; my only dislike is the delay time between pushing the 'take' button and the picture actually 'taking'. That said, I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting something inexpensive to take on vacation. Got this for my teenage daughter for Christmas. She loves it. The batteries drain very fast though and some of her pictures seemed to be grainy.
For a first camera, we can't complain. She is very happy with it.

I purchased this item for my 7 year old daughter because of a Kodak that I own and love. She has used it right out of the box with ease. She couldn't stop taking pictures and learned how to use the review and lens quickly. It is truly point and shoot and the price is great. Also we got the color pink and it looks great.
