Just like an old-fashioned thermometer, the digital meters slowly change color to indicate changes in temperature or humidity. Place the remote sensor indoors or outdoors... its transmission range is nearly 250 feet. It is a great weather information item. The worst problem with it is that the temperature reading only goes down to -4 degrees F. Since we live in New Hampshire, we wish that it would go to a lower temperature. It goes up to 140 degrees F. It must be mostly for areas that are much hotter than our locale. But, it is still quite a neat gadget.

While the product looks very attractive, and the idea is good, it does not appear to be very accurate. The indoor temperature is off by three degrees and the indoor humity is off by 10%. The outdoor temperature seems to be correct however. My son is in the heating & cooling bussiness and he tested against several accurate gauges he has.
