My 6-year old son recieved this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It is very easy to use for him and has a lot of fun features aimed towards kids. The size and controls are fun and not to small for his hands, and he loves being able to plug in a second set of headphones to share his music with friends or being able to listen with no headphones at all via the small speaker. I would definitely recommend this for kids probably in the 1st-4th grade age group.

I loved them. I bought 3, one in each color. The kids that I bought them for absolutely love them.....
Only one little flaw. I used a small peice of velcro to hold the bottom door closed. Other than that, it is a smash hit. The ages I bought them for were 1 - Girl age 3yrs., 1 - Boy age 3 1/2yrs., and 1 - Boy 4 1/2 yrs. old. They all can operate them with ease.....
It is a GREAT buy!

Bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it! Doesn't like to wear headphones so this is perfect for him! Very durable and very easy to use. The only negative thing is that it doesn't shut off when not using...buy lots of batteries.

it plays music....but it does not change songs when you shake it???...which is why they call it the shaker...right??

My 5 year old daughter got this for Christmas. It is easy to download to and easy to use. We like the fact that there is a built in speaker so that our daughter doesn't have to use the earbuds so we can make sure it's not too loud. Our daughter loves music and loves to dance, the players design makes it easy to hold while she's dancing around.
