The shredder works great. Sometimes if you only put one sheet of paper in you have to move it around before the sensor picks it up. It does a great job shredding CD's and old credit cards. :)

First, the most important thing: I never put more than 6 sheets through this at a time (it says it can handle eight). I used it only for home shredding: old bank statements and so forth, so it was really only lightly used. In other words, this is not a case of someone buying a low-end shredder and complaining if it breaks when trying to shove 84 pages through it at once.

Works just like the more expensive models. I'm teaching a class that stresses getting out of debt by not using credit cards any more. This shredder has chewed up over fifty of our student's credit cards with no problem. It's a money saver in more than one way!

This shredder does what it was advertised to do. It is fast, easy, quiet and good for home use. I have not had any problem with it. I use it every day and hope to soon get all my backlog of shredding done.
