I have several iTouchless cans in various sizes and have been very satisfied with all of them. This one is pretty small so I would consider it only an option for a "powder room" bath or a room with very minimal garbage. I like it because it's sanitary-looking and also keeps the dogs from nosing around to pull out used tissues and other trash.

This product works much like the other iTouchless systems. Keeps everything sanitary and for this size, works especially great in the bathroom where it is for me. One disappointment was the lack of the invaluable ring which holds the bags in place in the larger iTouchless garbage cans. I have the full-size iTouchless trash can, which works great, so I thought I'd get this for my bathroom.
Well, it looks like I made a mistake.
The main problem is that the sensor just doesn't work very well. I end up standing on one foot, waving my other foot 2 inches over the sensor multiple times before it opens the lid.
I'll probably move this to the less frequented bathroom and get a small step can instead.

it's a great buy. would have been better if i had bought the 8gallon instead of 1... nevertheless, it's functional, tidy and my daughter sure loves it..

I had been looking for a compost pail to replace the antique one I had in the sink for a very long time. I did not like any of the new versions with charcoal features or lids that did not shut tight so odors escaped.
