Way too loud... instructions says you will get used to it in about a week. I could not take the noise... no way to adjust the volume of rushing air. I even tried it in another room.. returned for refund.

I think this product works exactly as it says it does. it's a nice alternative to running a fan in the middle of winter, and it is small enough to travel with. i definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a white noise to sleep.

I have used a sleep mate for about 9 years. Before that I used a small fan that I turned away from myself in colder weather. I love this product so much and then my son used it for a week. He said that he couldn't sleep without it so I bought another one. They are small and easy to take with you wherever you go. I have mine in a closet because we have a small bedroom. The noise level is adjustable, but still a little on the loud side.
