This is a wonderfully imaginative series that is perfect for the whole family. We have Book 1 the entire season and now own Book 2 Vol. 1-3 (4&5 are not available yet). When our DVDs arrived, we couldn't stop watching them. We are anticipating the publication of the rest of the Earth season and eagerly await the last season - Fire. Avatar is an excellent animated series for the whole family; enticing characters with engaging storylines, captivating action and good humor. I personally feel this is the best animated series being produced. I highly recommend this series to anyone. As a father of 2 children, I think this is easily the most meaningful and morally responsible series available for families as a whole on television (cable or no). We have become fans of the show and look forward to each new dvd that comes out. I have two boys who are 7 and 10 who love to watch them. My older daughter takes them with her to babysit and the kids love watching them as well. My younger daughter enjoys trying to water bend like Katara.
