I recently received this chef's knife and I find it very sharp and well made. It is noticably sharper than my older Wustoff knives and the blade is nice and wide for scooping items off the cutting board. It was sharp enough to effortlessly cut paper thin slices from some stringy leftover steak tips that I pulled out of the fridge for fajitas. This knife is fabulous. Sturdy and durable construction and it cuts like a hot knife through cold butter. The price for such a great knife cannot be beat.
