I really liked this recorder case. It is beautiful, and it fits loosely and protectively around my recorder while leaving room for me to store my recorder cleaning rod and my recorder cream along side it. The zipper that runs all the way down the side makes it very convenient and easy to get my recorder in and out of it, and although this case is not hard and therefore floppy, I think my recorder is better protected in it than in the recorder bag that it originally came in and that I have been storing ... I bought this case for my daughter's recorder. It's nice in that it seems durable and has a nice zipper with a round pull. It just fits the recorder so when I bought a little thumb rest for her it makes it a little tight in that spot. The only other comment is that I wish I could have picked a color. It came in a dark green, but my daughter made a comment about it (she was only 5). She wanted a "girl" color like pink or red.
